Alison Wonderland (born Alexandra Margo Sholler) is a DJ and electronic dance music producer and producer hailing from Australia. In Chicago, Illinois in 2009 she studied performance in The Second City Training Center. Tolman began her career in Fargo, a black-comedy crime-drama on FX. Fargo was based on Coen Brothers' film of the same name. It starred Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman alongside Bob Odenkirk. Tolman received praise for her performance as Minnesota Police Officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair reported that Tolman, "calmly" and "assuredly" was the star of the show. Tolman won an Critics' Choice Television Award in the category of Best Supporting Actress in movies/ministries. Also to that, her nominations in the category of Best Actress were received at the Emmy Awards as well as the Golden Globes. Tolman was given the role of a guest on two episodes as romance novelist Abby Berman on The Mindy Program the same year. In 2015, she played as a character supporting Michael Dougherty's comedy horror film Krampus. Tolman's breakout role as Fargo caused her to drop various supporting roles, such as those of mothers and best friends, wives and husbands. Tolman was searching for other roles with a twist. Tolman played a character on ABC as a character in Downward Dog (based on Animal Media Group's web-series). The series was canceled after just one season. Tolman was a part of the ABC drama series Emergence that was launched on September 24, 2019 it was cancelled following one season in May 21st the 21st of May, 2020. The show received "pretty decent" ratings, according to Tolman via Twitter. She was also a guest star on NBC's Good Girls. In 2021 she appeared as Alma Filcott in season two of Why Women Kill. Natalie Green appeared in Live on Front of a Studio Audience 3.
